With Grand Ole Opry appearances, online videos, and more, the French Family Band is becoming a favorite of traditional country music fans across America and beyond. The family made a big leap to pack up and move from Australia to Nashville…just in time for COVID shutdowns. With few options to play publicly, Camille, Stuie and their kids began hosting Facebook Live concerts every Saturday night from their living room. Fans from across the globe began tuning in and Nashville A-list artists took note as well. As the world “started spinning again,” the French Family found themselves with a huge base of fans excited to watch their journey to the Grand Ole Opry and beyond. We hosted their FIRST visit and concert in TEXAS in 2023 and are excited for their return this summer!

The Grand Ole Opry Debut
“Their debut was just electric in the room and the crowd offered a long standing ovation in appreciation of their beautiful vocals, tight harmonies and outstanding playing.”
I spent most of my life and career in music, but there was something unique and special about Camille and Stuie from the first time I inadvertently stumbled across them online (and half a world away!) Click to see a bit of that story….

Event Details
SPACE IS LIMITED! When we reach capacity sales will end, so don’t wait to reserve space for you and your friends and family.
To cover the cost of the event, a non-refundable admission is required for each person 6 years and up and a wristband will be required for entry. We will have the will-call list at the entrance and wristbands will be picked up on the day of the event. Directions, parking info and additional details will be emailed the week prior to the event.
The show will be outdoors under a large pavilion – rain or shine. Bring your own chairs and be friendly (i.e. – slide in close) with those around you. Larger coolers or other items that take space should be kept outside the music area to accommodate others under shade.
Please note – This is a family-friendly and alcohol-free event. Because we are a working farm with livestock, no pets are allowed, no exceptions. Please supervise children closely at all times. The gates will open at 6pm, concert starts at 7pm. A wonderful community fireworks show is hosted at the camp next door, just beyond our pond, and will begin at 9pm to wrap up the evening.
We welcome you to our home and look forward to an awesome evening of fellowship, beautiful music, and great fireworks!
(From Eddie) I was on leadership staff as a worship leader and communications director at Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall from 1999-2011. In 2003, hearing it was my lifelong dream, our pastor gave his blessing for us to also build and lead Sabine Creek Ranch, a camp and retreat center on the outskirts of town.
One year, Nick Hill, a teenager who served on the media team at Lake Pointe and who was interested in pyrotechnics, asked if he could come do a fireworks show at the camp as a community outreach event. We gave him a little money to buy some consumer fireworks, but he showed up with a rented box truck, had also bought extra fireworks himself, put the show to music and video, brought projectors and sound, and did an AMAZING show from our outdoor horse arena!
About 200 people attended that first Independence Day celebration, and it continued to gain in popularity and grow every year. 400, 800, 1000…one year we had about 1,500 people from the community show up with lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy Nick’s awesome show! We finally started charging for parking, just to help control the numbers of people who were pouring in for the enjoyable event. Nick’s family and girlfriend (now wife) Rachael also pitched in to help each year.
Nick still works in church media, but he also owns Pyrolite productions and regularly does fireworks shows for weddings and other events in our area. Nick and Rachael’s daughter is even helping out now…the years have flown by!
We sold Sabine Creek Ranch just before COVID (whew!), but the church that bought it has kept the independence day tradition alive and Nick and Rachael are still showing up to put on a great show each year. These days we enjoy having friends over to watch the show next door from our backyard and across the pond.
This year we’re thrilled to have the French Family Band and many others – family, friends, and music fans – out to our place for an awesome evening of music and great fellowship. Visit, get to know some new friends, and enjoy a really beautiful fireworks display just after sunset!
